Over the years ATALIAN has set-up programmes that help to achieve its goals in terms of social, economic and environmental responsibility. From analysing the life cycle of our service lines, to assessing our carbon footprint, right through to setting-up training to prevent Muscular-skeletal Disorders and heart failure. All these action plans demonstrate our willingness to progress as a Group.
Cardiac arrest is responsible for the death of 40 000 people per year in France and only 4% of victims survive due to lack of early intervention. Moreover, 30% of these cardiac arrests occur in the workplace. In March 2015 ATALIAN decided to take concrete action and sign a partnership with the Global Heart Watch non-profit organisation (the first international non-profit organisation specialised in the prevention of sudden death in adults). Thanks to this partnership, ATALIAN employees were trained to recognise the first signs of heart failure, as well as provide first aid and learn how to use a defibrillator, during an awareness-raising session that took place at headquarters
In 2014 ATALIAN’s French cleaning service line initiated an MSD prevention strategy and specifically deployed a programme to train MSD prevention leaders. Following on from the knowledge acquired and successful experiences in the field, the project is advancing with the creation of new training modules for site managers. The training will help them identify the risks linked to MSD’s and present them with solutions to help them initiate a thought process on the subject.
